Bachelor’s Thesis

The Bachelor’s Thesis is offered as a Compulsory Elective course and is worth 10 ECTS credits.

Students may register their Bachelor’s Thesis with the Department Secretariat during their enrolment in the 7th semester or in any subsequent semester, provided they have successfully completed the first six semesters of study.

The minimum duration for completing a Bachelor’s Thesis is two semesters.

Choosing a Thesis Topic

At the beginning of each semester, members of the Department’s academic staff announce available Bachelor’s Thesis topics. Students select their thesis topic in consultation with their academic supervisor.

The list of available topics is published on the Department’s eClass platform:

Individual or Group Thesis

A Bachelor’s Thesis may be undertaken:

  • individually; or
  • jointly by two or three students.

In exceptional cases, a thesis may be completed by a group of more than three students, subject to the approval of the supervising faculty member or the academic staff jointly supervising the project.
