Complaints – Suggestions

The Department of Cultural Technology and Communication has established a dedicated Student Complaints Committee (SCC) to which the Department's students may turn in order to submit their suggestions, comments, complaints and recommendations, simply by sending an email to ct_complaints@aegean.gr.

The Student Complaints Committee constitutes an additional means of communication with the Department, complementary to the institution of the personal Studies Advisor, and is composed of the Head of the Department, a member of the Undergraduate Programme of Study Committee and a member of the Coordinating Committee of one of the two postgraduate programmes of study. The SCC manages, records and examines complaints and proposes solutions, and may refer the matter to the level of the Department Assembly or even to a higher level (Quality Assurance Unit) where deemed necessary.

This committee does not replace the institutional complaints committee of the Quality Assurance Office of the University of the Aegean, but operates in a complementary manner as an intermediate level of communication between the Department's students and its academic and administrative staff. In addition, the SCC does not take into account, and does not send a reply to, messages with abusive content, as well as messages that contain insufficient or untrue contact details.
