Short Biography

Doukas Psarros is a PhD holder of the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication at the University of the Aegean, with a doctoral thesis on the synthesis of multimodal data for the documentation and presentation of archaeological research in Mixed Reality environments. He completed his undergraduate studies in the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications at the University of the Peloponnese and his postgraduate studies in Cultural Informatics and Communication. His research interests concentrate on Mixed, Virtual and Augmented Reality in the field of Culture, with publications on 3D modelling and geospatial documentation technologies for cultural management. He has a teaching presence in Secondary Education and has supported laboratory courses such as "Multimedia Technologies", "Image Processing" and "Computer Graphics".
