Short Biography
Nikolaos Chatzigiannakis is a PhD candidate in the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication at the University of the Aegean, with a thesis on the creation of an asynchronous model for teaching programming using e-learning systems and cloud computing technologies. He has many years of experience as a specialist scientist in the analysis and design of information systems, having served as head of the Data Processing Centre of the General Secretariat for the Aegean. He has taught (under Presidential Decree 407) the procedural and object-oriented programming courses (C, C++) in the Department, with teaching experience exceeding 20,000 hours across a broad range of Computer Science subjects.
