Useful information about the steps that first-year students should follow in order to gain access to the services of the University of the Aegean (e-Services, student travel pass, Catering, Accommodation, Library) can be found in the University of the Aegean online guide for newly admitted first-year students, which will be updated throughout the enrolment period and the start of the academic year.

First-year students can benefit from a range of welcome activities that will facilitate their smooth integration into academic life. The welcome and introduction programme for the DCTC has already been designed. The programme includes an introduction to the Undergraduate Programme of Study, the academic community and the services of the DCTC, as well as the services of the University of the Aegean.
Similar activities will also be carried out by the Student Union of Cultural Technology and Communication.

The course outlines for all courses are available on the Undergraduate Studies page on the Department's website. In addition, in the timetable for the current semester, which will be announced shortly, you can find the online classroom for each course (e-class, moodle), where instructors upload useful material (lecture slides, notes, announcements, assignments, etc.) during the semester.
Students have access to the online classroom using their personal credentials (username & password). Students collect their credentials during enrolment at the University.
To connect to the e-learning platforms, students must have access to a computer. Alternatively, the connection can be made via a mobile phone or tablet.

At the beginning of each academic year, a faculty member is assigned to each first-year student as their Academic Adviser for the entire duration of their academic journey in the Undergraduate Programme of Study. The Academic Adviser provides the student with the necessary guidance and support for the successful completion of their studies. Communication between students and their Academic Adviser takes place either in person or by electronic means, during the office hours announced at the beginning of each semester.
